The Prophet, sallallahu alayhe wa sallam, said: If you love someone, go to his house and tell him.” Sometimes that house is the same one we ourselves live in.

Parent-to-Parent (in front of the children)
❂ These days, you can say those three magical words in a multiplicity of ways: In person, by phone, email, text message, cell, an old-fashioned handwritten note or letter. Just pick one and do it regularly.
❂ Take the time to appreciate all your spouse contributes to the family. Focus only on the positive and tell him or her how much it means to you.
❂ Tell your spouse they look beautiful.
❂ Tell your spouse how thankful you are to Allah that He brought you together.
❂ Have we lost the eloquent language of poetry? Singing?
❂ Ok, come on.You can think of some other ways!

Parent to Child
❂ They have all the same trinkets as point one above.
❂ Tell your child they are special and wonderful.
❂ Tell your child you are proud of them.
❂ Tell your child how much they mean in your life.
❂ Apologize when you lose your temper.
